Hi I'm Malaika!

I'm a photographer, researcher, writer, and filmmaker based in Toronto. I have a passion for capturing the connection between people, planet and the intersection of art and storytelling for environmental change. I'm currently working towards my MSc in Geography at Queen's University, with a research focus in climate modelling and soil science.When I'm not behind the camera or conducting research work, you can find me writing, hiking trails, painting, crafting, cooking, or over-analyzing movies and books!
